An older family member may have told you how the \u201cStar for All Seasons\u201d, Vilma Santos, has dominated Philippine television and cinemas over the past decades. From her movies, tv-series, to variety shows, the queen of all queens owned the title the \u201cmulti-awarded icon\u201d for her contribution to the industry- one is the Philippine musical variety show, \u201cVilma\u201d.<\/p>\n

Veteran actress and Deputy Speaker Vilma Santos-Recto reminisced her old \u201cVilma\u201d days as she returned to the newly renovated Manila Metropolitan Theater in Manila, where she filmed the episodes of the hit reality show \u201cVilma for 9 years\u201d, a Friday evening lineup she hosted back in 1986 to 1995.<\/p>\n
